Amanda Pinson's Profile Letter:
Hey there,
For those of you who don't know me my name is Amanda Pinson.  I was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky where Bro. Doug Webb was my pastor.  My husband Jeremy and I are now Youth Pastors at Broadway Assembly in Lorain, OH and have been there for 3 1/2 years.  We have 2 beautiful children Reagan age 3, Kennedy 1, and another girl Taylor on the way June 21st.  We have been blessed with a great group of young people, and it is amazing to watch them blossom into mighty young men and women for the Lord.  I have so enjoyed getting to watch the power of God transform their lives as they live a life of surrender and let Him do the work.  As most of you mothers now once you have children you can't always depend upon your alone and quiet time with the Lord so with two little ones already I have take that scripture to "pray without ceasing" and have learned to do that literally.  It doesn't matter if I'm washing dishes, running the vacuum, dusting, folding laundry, rocking my babies to sleep I have learned I can continually talk to the Lord.  Surprisingly I have found that He talks to me best when I am doing something productive whether it be sweeping, or mopping, or cleaning the bathroom.  I have had some of my most creative ideas from the Lord while I was doing my household duties and talking to Him.  Almost two years ago in November I'd felt such a void in my life.  Finally I realized the Lord was trying to get me to see I needed to develop some closer relationships with the younger women in our church, and I soon realized after getting to know some of them, they had this same lonely feeling too.  So we brainstormed about things to do, and finally one day I was mopping the floor (go figure) and I felt like we needed to start a Young Ladies Sunday school class and get an older woman to teach us. We celebrated our 1 year Anniversary with our class in March, and it is going great.  Teaching is an area that I thought I could NEVER EVER do, because I am so uncomfortable talking in front of a group of people, and because anytime I have to do that I end up crying.  But, I have asked God to use me, and He opened the door with our Ladies Sunday school class.  We set up a rotation with a few women, and I'm able to sometimes talk now and not cry.  I do believe He opened this door for me to be a part of Ladies Day of Renewal.  I can tell you from the bottom of my heart I am thrilled to be a part of your ministry that day, and I do hope God speaks so strongly to the Young girls that it will truly be a life changing day for them.  We are meant to live a Purpose Driven Life for God.  God Bless, and looking forward to meeting all of you there.

Love,

Amanda
